چکیده

Abstract Mantle metasomatism is an important process in subduction zones which fluids from the dehydrating oceanic slab interact with overlying upper mantle resulting a chemical alteration of mantle. Consequently, this fluid-rock interaction may influence rock's physical properties such as deformation behavior. In order to study element redistribution during laboratory, we used simplified model reaction olivine + quartz = orthopyroxene, where acts representative for and proxy metasomatizing agent. We conducted piston-cylinder experiments at 1.5 GPa 950 1400 °C, lasting between 48 288 h, on samples containing mixture one set synthesized forsterite doped either Co, Ni, Mn, or Zn. Additionally, tested nominally anhydrous hydrous experimental conditions distribution respective dopant by using crushable alumina natural CaF 2 pressure medium. Results analyses recovered show specific partitioning orthopyroxene independent confining medium; except runs Ni-doped were used. The observed Ni- Co-enrichment be identify rocks that underwent nature.

Extraction of Zn, Mn and Co from Zn-Mn-Co-Cd-Ni containing solution using D2EHPA, CYANEX® 272 and CYANEX® 302

Effects of pH, D2EHPA, Cyanex® 302 and Cyanex® 272 on extractions of zinc, manganese and cobalt from a Zn-Mn-Co-Cd-Ni containing solution was comprehensively investigated at the room temperature. The addition of Cyanex® 302 indicated a left-shifting-effect on the extraction curve of zinc, a right-shifting-effect on the extraction curve of manganese and no effect on the extraction of cobalt. The...

Cation Distribution in Co0.7Me0.3Fe2O4 (Me = Zn, Ni and Mn)

Co0.7Me0.3Fe2O4 (Me = Zn, Ni and Mn) were synthesized through co-precipitation method. Cationic distribution for these ferrites was proposed on the basis of magnetization measurements and available occupancy of the substituent ions into the spinel lattice. Theoretical lattice constant calculations confirm the proposed cationic distributions were the correct ones.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Electroplating and characterization of Zn–Ni, Zn–Co and Zn–Ni–Co alloys

a r t i c l e i n f o Zn–Ni, Zn–Co and Zn–Ni–Co coatings were electrodeposited on mild steel from an acidic chloride bath containing p-aminobenzenesulphonic acid (SA) and gelatin. These additives changed the phase content in the coatings, most likely as a result of their adsorption at the surface of the cathode. The effect of gelatin was more pronounced than that of SA. The Faradaic efficiency ...
